Therefore, RealMed’s embedded productivity enhancing capabilities are leveraged to provide a significant decrease in the operational burden and cost for the payer. With preferences set to the specifics of the payer’s needs this portal allows a payer to interface with providers instantly in a secure, electronic environment.
RealMed utilizes a combination of Microsoft .net development and platform technologies to deliver a versatile portal solution. Secure communication with providers is provided via HTTPS and role based security features. Single Sign On (SSO) functionality can be facilitated between the portal and any other payer internet presence.
