Why did you choose to be part of the RealMed team?

I joined RealMed to make a difference. Healthcare (especially the administrative side) is inefficient and frustrating for payers, providers and patients. RealMed provided me the opportunity to join a company that was devoted to eliminating these inefficiencies with a common sense, entrepreneurial attitude. Simply put, this company can't stand those inefficiencies and is looking to eliminate them for all three groups. It seemed like the perfect fit for a logic-driven, business process oriented lawyer.


Describe your favorite RealMed service.

Edit and Error Management. Think about being able to take incomprehensible messages from a payer and create a plain English explanation that highlights the error using a HCFA image to show where the error occurs. By facilitating this process, we save thousands of calls from providers to payers seeking guidance on these errors, thereby saving both parties time and money.
